2017-11-22

The Jinsha Site Museum is located in the western suburb of Chengdu, with an area of more than 50,000 square meters. It is one of the most iconic of all venues for the display of ancient Shu civilization, as well as yet another one of Sichuan's and even China's major archaeological discoveries since the Sanxingdui Ruins. Jinsha is the record and embodiment of the history of Chengdu, and the capital of the ancient Shu kingdom that flourished between the 12 BC and 7 BC. Over a thousand precious relics were unearthed at the Jinsha Site, of which the "golden sun bird" is being used as the logo of Chinese cultural heritage.
